W.W.E.D.?

What Say Y'all?

It's that time of year again when we ask YOU, the Kingsized Congregation, "What would Elvis do?".  Can you think of a tune that Elvis WOULD have or SHOULD have covered if his career had continued through the 70's, 80's and today?

Elvis Presley might have been the King of Rock 'n Roll, but he also had hit records in almost every genre (Rock, Pop, Rhythm 'n Blues, Country and Gospel). He covered everything from Beatles to Broadway. He sang songs that had sentimental meaning to him in their glorious melodramatic splendor ("To Dream the Impossible Dream") and he covered songs that rocked his rhinestoned karate chop ("Proud Mary"). No song was off-limits for Elvis to interpret with his fearless band and bevy of back-up singers.

Think about what songs would speak to Elvis on an emotional level. Or what songs he would want to tackle for their sheer grandiosity or rockin' ferocity. Dusty or digital, any era and genre of music is open for consideration. Share with us your vision of futuristic Elvisness, how would Elvis have grown and expanded his repertoire?

Email your W.W.E.D. song request to shannon@kingsized.biz and the band just may select your pick as the show-closer for our upcoming shows!
